The CannaSociety Soirée

This autumn, we were thrilled to help Cascade High’s  private event dreams come true and we are still buzzing from this fabulous event! On October 8th, about 70 people came together at a private home in the SW hills of Portland to celebrate and collaborate. With socially conscious business practices in the forefront of all, this bash made a mark by bringing a curated guest list of professionals in Healthcare, Cannabis and the Legal industries together for a serious good time.

Chef Leather Storrs from The Kitchen Chronicles and Noble Rot created an impressive multi-course Cannabis infused meal that was out of this world. The primarily vegetarian menu had a beautiful balance of locally sourced ingredients with flavors that could excite any taste buds, while staying on par with the sustainability theme.

Guests started off the evening with a cocktail designed by Leather and inspired by a Pineapple strain. This delicious drink was called “Pineapple Express” and let me tell you, I could drink these babies all night. The perfect combo of flavors & potency. Coalition Brewing had their local micro brews on tap for guests to enjoy as well. We sampled the Space Fruit IPA that had me at the first sip and their Wheat the People that was so smooth.

The multi course menu was designed by Leather using inspirations from the terpenes of the Cannabis used in the dishes. The courses presented over this 2 hour affair were creative, delicious and certainly successful at putting a big grin on everyone’s faces.

Great people, great conversations and collaborations! This event was so special for many reasons. There are a variety of avenues a budding brand can take to market their product and Cascade High’s desires to host an upscale dinner party opened a creative vault. This event educated healthcare, legal and other professionals who do not normally consume while offering a new take on our old fav for the experienced Canna-professional. The CannaSociety Soirée and Cascade High brought a few Oregon Rec-licensed cultivators together who are more than competitors – they are the pioneers of Oregon’s legal, recreational Cannabis market. They are setting new standards of modern business. They have come together and united as Oregonians, as Cannabis lovers and as open-minded, progressive thinking individuals. This is the future of Cannabis. Enjoy some more shots from the evening here, thanks to amarett.com!
